Overview

Angells House is over 500 years old and is situated in the quiet, Cotswold Village of Meysey Hampton. Close to Cirencester, we are ideally placed for visiting the many attractions of the Cotswolds. We have a beautiful garden for guests to enjoy, very comfortable well equipped rooms, a snug guest lounge and plenty of off road parking, with secure garaging for bikes. We serve a full English breakfast and for dinner our Village Pub is only a short stroll and they also serves tasty home cooked food. We welcome well behaved dogs.

 

Accommodation Details

Rooms available are a double with en-suite shower, a Twin or Triple room with a private, adjoining bathroom and a family suite for up to 5.

Our well equipped rooms are non-smoking, centrally heated, with colour TVs, hairdryers, iron and ironing boards and tea and coffee making facilities. Free WiFi is available throughout the house.

We have a comfortable lounge for guests to use, with TV, DVD and a log burner which is lit on chillier evening.

There is plenty of off road, private parking in our courtyard and secure garaging for bikes,

General Details

Breakfast is served in our friendly farmhouse kitchen or in our dining room with its Inglenook fireplace and in summer weather permitting on the patio, so guests can enjoy our beautiful garden as they eat outside. Our garden is a haven of peace and quiet in which you can relax and enjoy the surroundings, perhaps with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee on arrival.

 

Other Information

The local area is wonderful for biking, walking and cycling with picturesque villages and market towns, beautiful countryside, historic houses and ancient sites. If you like water sports, right on our doorstep is the Cotswold Water Park, where you can sail, windsurf, kayak, water or jet skiing, wakeboard and fish. It also has an open air lido, with a beach and kids play area. Nearby at Lechlade is the Thames path where you can enjoy a stroll along the river to Buscott Lock. A day visit to the spa town of Cheltenham or the cities of Oxford and Bath can easily be made.
