Kath and Chris welcome you to our very comfortable, smoke free and pet friendly holiday accommodation. Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Cark in Cartmel in the Lake Districtst''s South Lakes Peninsula. The house offers first class accommodation in an unspoilt rural location close to some of the areas most popular attractions. We have information on many places of interest in our entrance hall. Eeabank Lodge was formerly an old coaching house, and until 1912 was known as ''The Railway Hotel''. The house has great charm and character, built circa 1760, but with part possibly 16th century. The name of the house is taken from the River Eea, the beck running through the village.

We have created a warm, comfortable, welcoming, home from home atmosphere for our guests to enjoy. If you need any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Accommodation Details

We have six rooms, three being en-suite and three that share two bathrooms. The rooms have all been furnished with quality bedding and furniture. Room 1 shower rooms has been refitted to a high standard.
There is an iron and ironing board available.
Room 1 A ground floor double room
The ground floor bedroom is a spacious double en-suite room with a large shower.

Room 2 A family room
The en-suite family room, with a double bed and twin beds, is very spacious and can accommodate a family of four or four adults and still have room for a cot.

Room 3 A twin room
Bedroom 3 is a twin room with its own bathroom across the landing.

Room 4 A double room
Bedroom 4 is a comfortable double room with an en-suite shower room.

Room 5 has a double and single bed and shares a bathroom with room 6.

Room 6 has a double and a single bed and shares a bathroom with room 5

General Details

The Dining Room:

The dining room is situated through the lounge in the old coaching house abd has a table that will seat 14.
Next to the dining room there is a large well fitted kitchen.

Tthere are two pubs within walking distance serving meals.

Lounge

In the comfortable longe there is a cosy wood burning stove to sit by and a 42" colour TV for those who wish to watch it.
Patio area

Leading from the lounge and dining room is our patio area which guests are invited to use whenever the weather permits.

 

Other Information

The house has central heating with additional solar power, there is an analogue fire alarm system installed and fire doors fitted which complies to the Cumbria fire service regulations.

We have wifi internet access There is a car park across the road and plenty of on street parking outside the house.

The large comfortable entrance hall contains information on local events and the Lake District.

There are a number of walks in the local area ranging from a level mile or two to a more strenuous ten mile walk along the fells with great views out over Morecambe Bay and across to the Lakeland Hills.

Local fishing trips can be arranged for both Course & Trout anglers and for sea fishermen there are miles of coast line or boat trips available.

We have a secure storage area for those wishing to bring mountain bikes to explore the Lake District and local information and maps are available for you.
