Overview

Llundain Fach Little London has been a rest-place for travellers since the Welsh drovers used to camp by the riverbank here on their way to the London markets. The facilities have been upgraded since then, and peace and relaxation are guaranteed.

We are a couple of old baby-boomers who really enjoy welcoming visitors to our lovely home and the beauty and interest of the southern Brecon Beacons National Park and surrounding area.

The location is well-regarded for walks: short, long, easy, or challenging; the industrial archaeology of mines, foundries and remains of the Swansea canal; red kites abound and the bird life you can see just from your bedroom window is something special (I've seen a buzzard riding the thermals off our roof, kingfishers zooming up the drive, and a grey heron resting in our flowerbed). Of course the landscape and wildlife make it a delight for photographers as well.

Other local activities include caving, horseriding, canyoning (that's jumping off waterfalls, in case you weren't sure), visiting the gardens and castles in the area, drives down to The Gower, and local towns including Swansea, Pontardawe, Brecon, Neath and so on. we are also ideally located for off-road bike training courses, weddings at Craig Y Nos, or visiting the National Showcaves at Dan-Yr-Ogof.

And if the weather's bad or you've had enough excitment, there's a cosy study and large garden for guests' use.

 

Accommodation Details

Bedroom One is a large room with kingsize bed and spacious en-suite shower room; Bedroom two is a double room, small and perfectly formed, with separate bathroom. Both rooms have windowseats with views down to the garden and the River Tawe. All rooms have tea and coffee facilities, and all linen is provided.� A third 2-bunk bedroom on the same floor is available when booked in conjunction with either bedfroom one or two, for families or friends who are travelling together. We can also provide a cot on request for Bedroom One.� Hair dryers, ironing board and iron are available. Full breakfasts are provided and special diets, vegetarian or vegan food is available on request. Evening meals or packed lunches can be booked with prior notice; contact us for prices and possibilites.

Bunk room: single occupant: �20.00, two occupants: �35.00.

All prices are per night and include full breakfasts.
