A car is recommended to enjoy the area fully but we are not far from several interesting eateries catering for all tastes from smart hotel and pub restaurants to delightful farm shopstearooms and seaside fish and chips! Newcastle and Edinburgh are still within range and we are only one and three quarter miles from the A1 north and south - a perfect stop-over for going to and from Scotland.
