Cragg Farm is a traditional Westmorland working farm situated 4 miles from the historic market town of Kendal, South Cumbria. The farm extends to over 300 acres and is home to cattle, sheep, hens, working dogs and a cat. Cragg Farm can offer visitors a tranquil and peacfull retreat for a relaxing holiday in the Cumbrian countryside. Many attractions are within easy reach, if you enjoy walking there are numerous short walks or more challanging climbs only a few miles away. Cragg Farm is on the W2W cycle route and there are many miles of peaceful country lanes to explore.

If you simply enjoy doing nothing but listening to the birds and animals, viewing the countryside and watching the happenings on the farm, you wont be disappointed.

The Caravan Site

The Atlas Heritage 4/5 berth caravan measures 28 x 12 feet and has two access doors. It is situated on a landscaped site within easy reach of the family farm; with good access from the quiet country lane and car parking space is provided. The caravan has its own grounds and garden area which includes seating and picnic areas .You over-look a stream & open fields where you can watch the sheep and cows grazing, birds singing or simply relax by taking in the spectacular views and fresh air.

Cragg Farm Caravan makes an ideal base for people who want a quiet and
relaxing holiday in the countryside. You will find plenty to explore nearby, there are many interesting walks on public footpaths and country lanes and numerous cycle routes (We can provide storage of your cycles at the farm if it is required)

By car you can explore further and visit some of the many attractions and marvel at the spectacular scenery of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. There are Supermarkets and shops in Kendal (4 miles) and several local pubs offer good food if you feel you do not want to cook. As well as traditional English food French, Italian, Chinese, and Indian are available either in restaurants or as take always.
