The pretty estuary of Mothecombe is just 4 miles away with its lovely sandy beach. The twin villages of Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo offer some good pubs serving food. The walk following the coastal path around the headland from Noss Mayo to Stoke Beach is well worth it as the views are stunning.
