Overview

Hillcroft Bed & Breakfast is a recently modernised detatched house in Salisbury, Wiltshire, built at the beginning of the last century, in a very quiet road just 15 minutes walk from the centre of Salisbury city. Hillcroft has a warm and friendly atmosphere where clients are made to feel at home. If arriving by train arrangements can be made for clients to be met. Salisbury is one and half hours by train from London.

 

Accommodation Details

The Bed & Breakfast accommodation comprises 1 double room with a hand basin and 1 twin room, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 shower room, neither ensuite. Both rooms have new beds with firm mattresses and are comfortably furnished with antique furniture.

General Details

Full English Breakfast is provided, or a Continental Breakfast if preferred. There are tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities and a digital TV/DVD in each room. Use of an iron and a hair-dryer are available on request.

Salisbury city has many attractions - the beautiful Salisbury Cathedral, the Museum, an excellent theatre and cinema and Old Sarum Castle (which is the site of the original Cathedral) just 1 mile out of the city.

There are other Tourist attractions within easy reach - in the small town of Wilton there is the the Wilton Carpet Factory and outlet shop which is 4 miles away. Roche Court 10 miles where there is always an exhibition of sculptures, Heale House Gardens 6 miles, Stonehenge 10 miles, Stourhead 30 miles, Longleat Safari Park 30 miles, the New Forest is 40 minutes drive, the coast is 1 hour's drive, and Bath and Winchester are 1 hour's drive. Beautiful Wiltshire countryside is only minutes away, with good walks.
