Accommodation Details
Printers Court: Printers Court is one of the most attractive of the many splendid properties that are found on Cheap Street, the main shopping street in Sherborne. Built in 1842 it is part of a row of houses known as the Parade and has a passageway entry through a distinctive cast iron gateway. At the rear of the property is a beautiful secluded garden for the use of guests and residents of Printers Court.
3 Printers Court: This spacious apartment is located at the front of Printers Court with a small private terraced balcony overlooking Cheap Street and the historic market square. One of the largest apartments to be found on Cheap Street, the property consists of two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a bathroom with shower over the bath, kitchen, foyer & a very spacious living/dining area with 2 large leather sofas and a sofa bed that can be used to sleep an additional two guests. The apartment is flooded with natural sunlight from the beautiful French doors leading to the balcony and the floor to ceiling period windows.
2 Printers Court: This quirky cottage-like apartment is full of character with it�s large exposed brick fireplace, high vaulted ceilings and original wooden beams and frames. The property is split over two floors: the first floor has two bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Upstairs is an open-plan floor with kitchen, dining space and living area. The windows on this floor in particular boast beautiful views over the garden and across the red rooftops of Sherborne's historic district right across to the famous Abbey closeby.
Teachers Cottage: Situated on Acreman Street just the other side of the Abbey to Printers Court is this charming period cottage. Spread over two floors with a mezzanine on the third level, the downstairs is open plan with a combined dining/living area and brand new Shaker-style kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms (one double, one with full size adult bunk beds). The attic has been masterfully converted into a bright and airy mezzanine over the master bedrooms boasting stunning views of the nearby Sherborne Abbey. With a built in folding desk this is the perfect office away from home or reading room, however the desk can fold down to make it a third sleeping area for additional guests.
68a Cheap Street - a historic apartment in a Grade II listed property. Featuring wooden beams, period fireplaces and original leaded windows. Two bedrooms (one with three singles and the second with a king-size bed). Shower room. Kitchen with dining area and living room. Large entrance hall with study area. Small private roof terrace with bench, table and chairs.
52 Cheap Street: This luxury one-bedroom apartment is our newest acquisition and the only one of our properties which is able to accept (well-behaved!) pets. Located just a little further up Cheap Street from Printers Court it has all the benefits of being centrally located and yet due to its location overlooking the Methodist Church grounds it is actually very peaceful and quiet. The accommodation consists of a master bedroom with king-size bed, bathroom with shower over the bathtub and a large open-plan kitchen/living/dining area which opens up onto the spacious roof terrace with outdoor seating and views of the Church and Sherborne Abbey.
Abbey Court - a large and modern two bedroom apartment boasting spectacular views overlooking Sherborne Abbey. Twin bedroom with two singles and master bedroom with double bed and en-suite shower room. Large living room with dining table. Kitchen with breakfast area. Sleeps up to 6 guests.
