Set in the beautiful grounds of the owners’ home these four holiday properties are tastefully decorated and finished to a high standard retaining many original features. Guests have the use of the large landscaped gardens with ponds waterfall and river frontage plus private fishing. The quaint village of West Burton in which these cottages are situated nestles in the Walden Valley among the beautiful Wensleydale countryside and is well known as one of the loveliest villages in the Dales with a large village green market cross Burton Force waterfall and no through traffic; it has a truly traditional feel with a shop and a pub serving food. An excellent base for touring throughout the Yorkshire Dales with the bustling market towns of Hawes and Leyburn only 10 miles. Bolton Castle the Black Sheep Brewery and The Wensleydale Creamery are all within easy reach. For the walker there is easy access from the village onto open moors and fells. For family days out don’t miss The Forbidden Corner gardens and Lightwater Valley theme park. Shop and pub serving food 500 yards.
