Luckford Wood House, in the Isle of Purbeck, is ideally situated and within easy reach of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. and many places of historic interest, eg. Corfe Castle, Saxon town of Wareham etc. Superb heathland, forest and breathtaking coastal walks as well as many world acclaimed attractions, such as Monkey world, Bovington Tank Museum, Studland, Swanage and Weymouth, Lulworth Cove beaches plus many more, can be part of your experience.
During warm evenings you can relax with a drink in the garden or enjoy the delights of our conservatory at any time of year. You can stroll along the lanes and hear and see much of nature. You will want to return!

 

Accommodation Details

All rooms, recently refurbished, are well appointed with farmland views. All are ensuite with refreshments, flat screen TV with freeview and access to free Wifi. We have double, twin and family rooms available
You may enjoy your traditional farmhouse breakfast, with many extras and other options in the dining room or conservatory (or garden if appropriate).
We do accept well behave dogs at an extra charge.

General Details

We are 'off the beaten track' yet only half a mile from the main A352.
We are situated between Wool and Wareham and equi-distant from Bournemouth and Weymouth. The main line railway to Waterloo is just 2 miles down the lane. Bovington Tank Museum and Monkey World are just 3 miles away, while Studland and Swanage are approx 11 miles.
