The property is usually used as a Health Retreat and has access to 3 large teepees, 2 geodesic domes and two Me-pods which have tiled floors and electricity. They are great as overflow accommodation are a unique experience. Great place for famillies and friends to get together for a special ocassion / holiday.There is a new 70m2 indoor studio room which can be used all year round. The retreat has added a fab underground cave sauna to add to the steam room and hydrotherapy pool and sun decking along the pool area.

 

Accommodation Details

Bedrooms: The traditional Andalucian house el Romero has 7 double bedrooms- double or single beds- 3 of which can fit an extra single bed . All of the bedrooms have A C which all inland houses will need at times in July and August.
Bathrooms: There are two bathrooms within the main house, both with showers and also one off the courtyard, a shower house by the swimming pool with 3 separate units. Shower by the hydrotherapy pool and one by the pool also.
Kitchen: A traditional Andalucian, though well equipped kitchen. All mod cons,2 hobs, 2 ovens, dishwashers, fridge freezers, microwave and cook if required for minimal extra cost (£120 per day approx).
Utility Room: Washing machine.Extra space in Freezer if required.
Living Rooms: Living room with large woodburner, there is a room off this which can be used as another sitting room/playroom or bedroom. The house is an original 200 year old finca, with wooden beams and 1m thick walls, stereo and DVDs also available for use.
Other: The house has one large terrace (80 sq.m) and a covered courtyard /daylight studio with glass curtains down the side, and another private upper terrace (25 sq.m). A unique venue for special events (wedding blessings, birthdays and family gathering etc).
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: A cleaner is in once during the week (for basic cleaning duties) and after one week if a 2 week booking all bed linen and towels are changed. In the summer months it is important to respect water usage. Pool/Beach towels are not provided.

Swimming pool, 5 x 8m and 2m deep end, maintained daily.
Steam room for up to 12 people and hydrotherapy pool for 5 people, and an outdoor cave sauna (use of these facilities have to be arranged). Wooden yoga platform 9 x 12m can accommodate 30 people. Sun Decking,sunloungers, big shaded area by pool,hammocks, day beds. Hanging chairs. Young children's toys available. Patio heater. Massive shaded terrace of 60m 2 in front of the finca, and a new daylight studio over the courtyard with glass curtains-perfect for the chillier months of the year as a dinning area. 2 large BBQs available.
Coast/Beach
35 minutes from a local beach, 1 hour from more secluded beaches.
1/2 hour from the Ardales lakes and the El Chorro gorge and mountain pass(a well kept secret but one of the most breathtaking places in the world)

Prices shown are for the property per week in euros. 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking and balanced paid 8 weeks before . 20% discount on 3 weeks or more. 20% off last minute bookings under 2 weeks. Please note we also do 4 nights. Bookings over 14 will be charged at 125e per person per week/part thereof. 10% off a full week for 2011 booked before Jan 1st 2011. The Gaudalhorce valley has some of the most unspoilt and spectacular country side which is a bird watchers paradise. El Chorro and the Ardales lakes are only 40 mins away - spectacular scenery, fresh pine air and fresh clean turquoise lakes. Fantastic to swim & canoe in in the warmer months. Well known attractions are: The lobo park-where you can howl with the wolves! The pink Lagoon-famous or its flamingoes. Caratracca Spa-has now re opened the sulpur baths.The crocodile park- a great place for kids and adults too! The donkey sanctuary-where the little ones can have a ride.Tivolli world- a theme park, to spoil little ones-great value for money.

There is extra accommodation available in the 3 x 21ft or 2x 18ft teepees or the 2 Huge Me-pods-which all have tiled floors, proper beds and electricity. The use of the teepees must be arranged with the owners in advance. Pool can be heated at extra cost , there is a catch a kid net which we can show you how to use as well as a pool cover which must be used if we have heated the pool. Huge fireplace and oiled filled electric radiators are available , and the a/c units also heat if ness in the colder months .Check in time 2pm, check out 10am unless otherwise organised. New 84sq.m covered daylight studio over courtyard with glass curtains, amazing space for an outdoor dining room any time of year Also an outdoor cave sauna. There is also Wi fi access. The water is heated by solar tubes and we encourage recycling with our own seperate bins. An amazing space for an unforgettable holiday.
