Overview

Afan Valley House, offers spacious accommodation for 12-14 in the village of Cymmer and provides easy access, via the low level Rhielffordd Cycle Trail, to the Afan trails starting at Afan Argoed and Glyncorrwg, (just over a mile away). It has been converted specifically for mountain bikers and walkers. The house is ideal for large parties with three showers, three toilets & dining places for 12. There is also a table football table. All bed linen and towels are included, as is electricity and gas. Cymmer has a village shop, a butcher, an excellent swimming pool, a takeaway and a decent pub (�The Refresh�) that also does good food, all within a couple of minutes walk.

General Details

The house can sleep up to fourteen people with 6 bunk beds spread over four rooms. The upstairs bedrooms all have stripped wooden floorboards with drawer and shelf space for each guest. There is a lounge and a dining room both with seating for 12, a large flat screen colour TV with Freesat, DVD player, Wifi unlimited internet access, and a table football table in the second reception room. The well-equipped kitchen has fridge, freezer, oven and microwave, and plentiful cupboard space. Afan Valley House contains three showers rooms, two toilets (with an extra one in the outbuildings) and a bath.

The washing machine, tumble dryer and drying racks are located in the large utility room in the outbuildings surrounding the private courtyard.

The other two outbuildings are for secure bike storage with steel door grilles that can hold up to 12 bikes. There is access to the back garden through a side passage, with locking gate. There is a pleasant back garden with seating. From the house and garden there are stunning views of the valleys and mountains and a rear gate has access directly on to the mountains behind.
