This seafront historic (built 1832) establishment provides warm welcoming boutique comfort for both pleasure leisure seekers on short breaks and special weekends and business men.En-suite rooms,complimentary tea/coffee making,freeview tv with dvd player in all rooms.There are luxury rooms with balconies overlooking the English Channel,a four poster honeymoon room,strong wifi access throughout,groundfloor adapted room with wet room for physically challenged guests plus disabled parking and ramped entrance.Old Hastings attractions-lifeboat station,Smugglers Caves,castle and museums,shops and crazy golf are all close and the Grand is in the heart of 1066 Country where you can easily visit Battle Abbey,the cinque port of Rye and both Bodiam & Hever Castles.There are fast road rail links to Brighton,London,Gatwick,Eurostar and Dover ferries.

We have 17 rooms,a mixture of singles,twins,doubles,triples and family rooms to suit individual requirements.

General Details

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets,only guide dogs and well trained husbands.There is a clear non smoking policy as a legal requirement.

 

Other Information

If travelling by vehicle,there are two car parks nearby plus unrestricted parking 50 yards west of the Grand;elsewhere a two hour limit is permitted from 8am to 6 pm.which means you can park right outside from 4pm to 10 am.No limits at all on Sundays.Downtown Hastings,of course ,there are parking meters and residents parking only.
If travelling by train,Warrior Square station is the closest of our 4 stations;book,if possible,on line and obtain much cheaper tickets.
London Gatwick is better than Heathrow and Stanstead as it is much closer and has a direct rail service to Hastings..
We store both bikes and boots for cyclists and ramblers/walkers.
