The Green Gables Guest House aims to exceed all your expectations as a family friendly guest house in Windermere. Green Gables is a 3 star, family-owned and run guest house providing first class accommodation in Windermere.

We're conveniently placed just a one minute walk from Windermere centre with its many specialist shops, banks, restaurants and pubs.

 

Accommodation Details

All our tastefully appointed rooms have colour TV, hair dryers, radio alarm clock and tea and coffee making facilities, with cots available on request for our youngest guests. Seven letting bedrooms are available, and include 2 en-suite Doubles, 1 en-suite Family triple (can be used as a twin or double), 1 en-suite Single, 2 Family triple rooms with private facilities (can be used as twin or double) and 1 family four (1 double, 2 singles) with private facilities (can be used as twin or double). Enquire about our special family room rates.

We have a comfortable lounge bar on the ground floor where a good selection of canned and bottled beers is available together with a range of wines and spirits.

Prices are from �24 per person per night (inclusive of a full English breakfast).
Children's prices reduced depending on age, with no charge for children under 4 years of age.

The Green Gables Guest House retains many of its original Victorian features and traits, combining traditional charm and character with modern conveniences. We are very close to local transport links, an important consideration if you have children with you.

We have a strong reputation to uphold with regard to our breakfasts, known as some of the heartiest in the area. If you have any specialised dietary requirements, inform us and we will go the extra mile to ensure you are well catered for.
