Hillside Bed & Breakfast is a Victorian Town House (which is dated at around 1880) offering Visit Britain 4 Star Guest Accommodation consisting of:

- 1 Superior Single en-suite

All of the bedrooms offer a Remote Control Colour Television with free view, Free Wi-Fi, Alarm Radio, Thermostatically Controlled Radiators and well stocked Refreshment Trays.

Also available to our guests are hair dryers, clothes irons, drying facilities for wet coats and trays for muddy boots.

We have parking permits allowing guests to park outside the house for the duration of their stay.

Hillside Bed & Breakfast is a Victorian Town House (which is dated at around 1880) offering Visit Britain 4 Star Guest Accommodation.

Kendal is a bustling market town, there is much to do and enjoy in Kendal including the town trail, riverside walk and great shopping in the town�s historic �yards� and the new 'K Village'.

Treasures include the Brewery Arts Centre, Abbott Hall, the Quaker Tapestry exhibition, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall.

Kendal also hosts events and festivals throughout the year including the Westmorland County Show, Mintfest (Kendal�s international street arts festival) and the Mountain Film festival.

Other Information

By Road - from the South

Exit M6 at Junction 36 (signposted Kendal) and at roundabout take 1st exit onto A590 (A591). Take the A6 (signposted �SOUTH KENDAL�) and follow the road until you join a one way system. Keep to the left hand lane*.

By Road - from the North

Exit M6 at Junction 37 and follow the A684 signposted to KENDAL. On reaching Kendal, join the one way system and follow signs for LANCASTER then Abbot Hall Art Gallery & Brewery Arts Centre. Keep to the left hand lane*. Passing the Brewery Arts Centre on your left, follow signs for Brigsteer & Underbarrow.

At traffic lights (Town Hall & clock tower will be on your right. Oxfam shop on your left) turn left into All Hallows Lane (signposted BRIGSTEER and Wainwright�s Yard). Continue up the hill for 200m and into Beast Banks. Hillside Bed & Breakfast is on your right hand side.

By train to Oxenholme or Kendal. Taxis available.

By National Express to Kendal Bus Station.

Follow signs to Tourist Information Centre. With your back to the TIC take the road opposite (All Hallows Lane) and continue up the hill for 200m into Beast Banks.
