Chris & Heidi welcome you to Penrose, their beautiful AA 4 stars rated
Victorian home. Penrose exudes a homely atmosphere with a hint of heritage. Fireplaces, chandeliers, cornices and stained-glass windows are evident through-out the building. Be prepared to be spoilt when you book into Penrose B&B as Chris & Heidi pride themselves on hospitality and the kind of finishing touches that make a visit memorable.

We are just 10 minutes away from the Eden Project.

 

Accommodation Details

Altogether, Penrose has to offer 5 large double/twin/family ensuite rooms and 2 large double ensuite bedrooms. Two rooms are on the ground floor and can be used together to accommodate 5 people and can be used as self catering.

All our bedrooms contain Freeview TV, DVD player, extensive tea & coffee making facilities with biscuits, bottled mineral water, bathrobes, hairdryer, Cole & Lewis toiletries books & games; and all the ensuites and bathroom have electric showers, plus fresh towels, face cloths, shampoo/conditioner and shower gel.

Wifi is free and available in the rooms, or there is a computer in the dining room for all to share.

 

Room Rate Guide:

The tariff is from �25 in winter to �50 in summer per person per night based on 2 people sharing a room. Children �10 - �35. Pets are free.

General Details

Breakfast is full cooked English, which comprises of locally farmed bacon, locally made sausage, fried or scrambled locally farmed free range egg, hash brown, tomato, black pudding, mushrooms and vegetarian sausage, 2 kippers, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, porridge, plus as much cereal, toast, orange juice, fruit, jam & marmalade and tea & coffee as you want. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know in advance and we will try our best to help you.

 

Other Information

There are lots of amenities close by, including local pubs, restaurants & takeaways. Coastal walks, cycling, golf courses, gardens, fishing, sailing and of course The Eden Project. The local beach is a 10-minute drive away and the north west coast is only 40 minutes. Lostwithiel is well placed to explore the whole of Cornwall.

Lostwithiel itself has many antique shops, teashops, restaurants, pubs, church, golf course, castle, river, parks, boats, museum and train station.
