Of the few hotels on Dartmoor, The Cherrybrook offers a unique location standing at the heart of the Dartmoor National Park, with extensive views over the moors stretching for several miles.

Originally built as a farmhouse over 200 years ago, The Cherrybrook is now a small family run hotel providing a warm and friendly B&B. Situated between Two Bridges and Postbridge, it stands almost at the centre of the High Moor of Dartmoor in 3 acres of wildlife friendly meadows.

The Cherrybrook is ideally located for those seeking a relaxing peaceful break away from the hurly-burly of modern life and is especially suited for walkers who can step straight onto the open moor.

General Details

Our fully licensed restaurant offers a choice from our extensive four course table d'h�te dinner menu. All meals are home-made and wherever possible feature locally sourced produce. Our cosy snug bar was once the cattle shed of the farmhouse. It is now comfortably furnished to enable you to relax with an aperitif before your meal, or sample our large selection of locally brewed ales whilst browsing our dinner menu. After your dinner, you can return to the bar where your coffee and mints will be served.

Walker Friendly: Located in the centre of the Dartmoor National Park�s 368 square miles, The Cherrybrook is an ideal base for walkers of all ages and abilities. Most of the open moorland is common land, and you can walk straight from The Cherrybrook onto the open moor. We will gladly provide you with maps of recommended routes of various lengths all starting from our front door.

Dog Friendly: Our dogs form part of life at The Cherrybrook, and guests with well behaved dogs are always welcome, their dogs being free of charge. Our 3 acres of meadows are particularly suited for dog owners and we have created a maze of small mown paths for those early morning and late evening walks.
