Overview

The Jays Guest House is one of Aberdeen's prestigious establishments and is the only one to have been awarded 4 stars by the Tourist Board and the Automobile Association. The Jays is also the No. 1 guest house in Aberdeen on Trip Advisor.

The ten recently refurbished rooms have either en-suite(8) or private(2) facilities. Each room has a tea/coffee tray and Freeview LCD television, is also provided. Central heating and double glazing is installed throughout.

There is a private car park at the rear of the house and complimentary Internet WiFi connection is provided, for use with personal laptops.

For the comfort and health of the guests The Jays operates a non-smoking policy throughout.

The Jays is ideally situated near the city centre and is handily placed for business or pleasure pursuits.

Alice and George Jennings, the owners, have been running The Jays for the past 28 years and take pride in the service and facilities that they provide for their guests.

General Details

Centrally located The Jays Guest House is ideally situated for both business and leisure pursuits. Close to AECC, Aberdeen University and Robert Gordon's University, Sports Leisure Centre, theatre,cinemas and all the amenities associated with a large cosmopolitan city.

Please note that the Jays Guest House is closed for business on Friday and Saturday.

On making a booking, a credit/debit card number, together with the expiry date and the 3 digit security number, are required for security.

We are unable to accept Amex or Diners Club credit or debit cards.

The card is not activated but is held as security in the event of a last minute cancellation (within 48 hours of time of arrival) or of a non-appearance. In the event of a last minute cancellation the first nights' tariff will be deducted from the card, but in the event of a non-appearance the total cost of the booking will be deducted.

Arrival time is by arrangement, but rooms must be vacated before 10.30 a.m. on the day of leaving.
