The Waverley offers all that you would expect from an AA 4 STAR guest house. We are proud to be the first Green Tourism Business Scheme accredited business in Whitby having achieved the top level GOLD rating. We are also winners of Trip Advisor Travellers� Choice 2010 and have received a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2010.

We are situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and therefore conveniently positioned for the promenade, beach, town centre, harbour and shops. Being close to Whitby Pavilion makes us handy for many events. Within a 10-15 minute stroll you can be in the old town. There are many interesting shops selling all kinds of goods from Whitby Jet to specialist chocolates, from kippers to jewellery, clothes and much more. You can also visit the world famous Sutcliffe gallery and see photos from days gone by.
