Overview

Listed typical Devon fishermans cottage. Still has original Bodley stove which was made in Bideford over 100 years ago. Cottage is very cosy and has everything you would need for your stay. Own garden with bench and picnic table. Bucks Mills is on the edge of Bideford Bay and is in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Many wild flowers, butterflies and birds. Few minutes walk to beach on no-through road which goes past the cottage. The beach has sand and pebbles and rock pools to explore. Day visitors do not drive into the village so there is hardley any traffic. Lovely walks from the cottage.

 

Accommodation Details

The accomodation consists of:
Sitting room - seating for four, satellite TV, cd player, video player, radio, books and jig saws. Storage heater.
Kitchen - all electric, washer/dryer, microwave etc. Storage heater.
Bedroom 1 - king sized double bed, storage heater. Travel cot. Storage heater.
Bedroom 2 - adult sized bunks. All beds have quilts.
Bathroom. usual facilities, bath with shower over.

 

Price Guide:

�210 - �535 per week
Short breaks - off season/short notice from �65 per night (minimum 2 nights)

 

General Details

We have often stayed in holiday cottages, so we have tried to make sure our cottage has everything you could need in a holiday cottage. It seems to work as we have many repeat bookings.

 

Other Information

Lettings are from Saturday - Saturday in the main season. Out of season and Christmas lettings can start on any day to suit you. 10% discount to previous visitors. Parking is outside the cottage. Sorry - no pets or smoking in the cottage.
