Almond Tree Cottage (formerly The Old Barn at Trethin) is a peaceful and tranquil retreat within the grounds of Trethin Manor - one of a cluster of other converted former farm buildings, all set in delightful, well-maintained grounds with lawned areas, flowering shrubs and mature trees.

There's plenty of opportunity for relaxation without leaving Trethin and its surrounds: the adjacent field offers spacious recreation for children, with a rustic slide and climbing frame; plus a games room with table tennis and a pool table. And, of course, you're deep in the Cornish countryside - why not try walking to Roughtor and exploring the Moor?

Bedrooms:
Two bedrooms - a double and a twin which can easily be converted to a double - just let us know when you book.
Bathroom:
Family bathroom with a overbath drench shower, hand basin and toilet.
Living area, divided into:
◦Kitchen: Electric cooker with hob, oven and separate grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and kettle.
◦Lounge: Two-seater sofa with two armchairs, TV, DVD with DVD's, games and a selection of novels/guide books to use dyring your stay. Dining table with four chairs.
Electric heating and storage heaters throughout together with electric stove in the lounge.

Outside:
Sitting area with hardwood garden chairs and table.
Secure bike/surfboard shed.

Nearest beach is 10 mins away at Trebarwith Strand. Also nearby are Tintagel, Port issac & Boscastle. Plenty of shopping, good pubs & restaurants available in Camelford & Wadebridge.

Very easy access to 'The Atlantic Highway' (A39)if your exploring takes you further afield. Public footpaths from Trethin lead up to Advent church and Bodmin Moor beyond or down to the river and along the valley into Camelford. OS maps provided for you to borrow, bring your own wellies and walking stick.

A well behaved dog is welcome (additional charge).
