General Details

The accommodation sleeps four and is arranged over two floors - the two en-suite bedrooms are on the ground floor, both with underfloor heating; one king with en-suite bathroom and one twin (which can be made into a superking-sized bed) with en-suite shower room. On the first floor, there is an open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area which has solid wood floors and a beautiful view towards the tree-lined River Avon.

 

Other Information

Braxted Cottage is just a few minutes walk from the town centre, with its numerous pubs, restaurants and shops, the famous Malmesbury Abbey�and the Abbey House Gardens�(home to the "Naked Gardeners"). Within a few miles are Westonbirt Arboretum,�Tetbury and the gateway to the southern Cotswolds. Malmesbury is ideally situated for exploring a vast area of this beautiful part of England. Within an easy drive are the Cotswolds Water Park, Slimbridge,�Castle Combe�(and its Racing Circuit), the beautiful old-world villages of Bibury and Lacock, Cirencester, Bath, Bristol, and the amazing ancient stones at Avebury. If you fancy going futher afield, an hour�s drive could take you to Oxford, Cheltenham or Marlborough or even over the bridge and into South Wales.
