Many picturesque villages and harbours lie within easy reach, and the famous ponies and red deer can be found on the moor. The medieval village of Dunster is only 2 miles away, and is well worth exploring for its castle, priory, church, tithe barn, dovecote, water mill, and the famous Yarn Market.

Thatched Longhouse and 12 attractive cottages sleeping 2,3,4,5,6,8,12 or 16 in 1-8 bedrooms, beautifully converted from old stone barns and stables on small country estate, 2 miles from the picturesque village of Dunster.

Original beams and exposed stonework retain the character of the buildings. Set in a stunning location in the lovely Avill Valley, Duddings is the perfect base from which to explore the wonderful countryside of the Exmoor National Park.

General Details

Facilities at Duddings include a hard tennis court, indoor heated pool, putting green, a new games room (with pool table, table tennis & table football), trampoline, football net & Gate Lodge Play Centre (2-story playhouse with swings, slide, fireman�s pole & assault course). Off the secondary courtyard we have an Information Room with Wifi access, a Pay Phone, brochures, a selection of children�s books & some videos & DVDs. There are eight acres of land to explore, with picnic areas, and a safe river where you may spot a brown trout! This is a marvellous spot for a family holiday in an area which has so much to offer.
