Greetham Retreat offers 5 superb, modern and stylish self catering cottages in the Lincolnshire Wolds near to Horncastle. With fabulous scenery, historic market towns and several seaside resorts with beautiful sandy beaches nearby, there really is something for everyone. We have 3 lovely cottages just for couples ( Wendy's Wing, Rose's Rest and Laura's Loft) as well as two larger cottages (Maggie's Mews and Katie's Corner) that can accommodate 4 and 6 people in each.

 

Accommodation Details

The 5 cottages and apartments at Greetham Retreat are briefly described as follows:-

Katie's Corner:
This cottage sleeps up to 6 people in three bedrooms one downstairs and two upstairs all with adjoining bathrooms. There is a large lounge with flat screen TV and DVD player. The new kitchen/diner is modern with all the facilities you need.

Rose's Rest:
This cottage is on the ground floor and sleeps 2 in a king sized bed with an en suite shower room. It has high ceilings with original beams and is comfortable, warm and cosy.

Maggie's Mews:
Maggie's Mews sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms. This cottage has an upstairs master bedroom with a super king sized bed, luxury en-suite with super-sized whirlpool spa bath and separate shower as well as a twin ground floor bedroom with en-suite.

Laura's Loft:
This is a very cosy and private apartment for 2 people. Upstairs there is an open plan living room and a double bedroom with en suite and luxury whirlpool spa bath.

Wendy's Wing:
Wendy's Wing is dog friendly ground floor cottage that sleeps 2 people. The bedroom has a super king sized bed which can become two single beds if required. The bathroom is a luxury stylish wet room and would be suitable for accompanied wheelchair users.

 

Price Guide:

From �220 to �420 per week for cottages that sleep 2 (Rose's Rest, Laura's Loft & Wendy's Wing).

From �290 to �525 per week for cottage that sleeps 4 (Maggie's Mews)

From �340 to �650 per week for cottage that sleeps 6 (Katie's Corner)

General Details

All cottages are newly constructed within a recently converted redundant agricultural building.
All cottages are furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard with stylish leather sofas and solid oak furniture, fully fitted kitchens with built in appliances that even include a dishwasher. The beds are all new and very comfortable. Everything in our cottages is designed to ensure you have a really luxurious, comfortable and restful holiday whilst at Greetham Retreat.
Short breaks available all year in all cottages for 3 or 4 nights. Please enquire for details.
Pets welcom in all cottages except for Laura's Loft. (Small additional charge).
High chair, Cot and stair gates available.
Holistic therapy and massage treaments available for guests. Please enquire at time of booking.
Off road free private parking next to cottages.

Greetham Retreat is nestled in its own extensive yet private grounds situated in the heart of rolling hills and valleys of the Lincolnshire Wolds an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) which has 216 square miles of spectacular countryside and peaceful villages. It is the perfect place to unwind for those who appreciate the quite enjoyment of the ever changing countryside.

We enjoy a delightfully tranquil and stunning position which is home to abundant wildlife, plants and birds. Our grounds extend to over 4 acres and include areas of woodland, wildlife ponds, wild flower meadows and seating which takes advantage of the panoramic views. This is where the stresses of life are left behind. We can also offer Holistic therapies and massage treatments during your stay.

The area offers a great deal for the country lover; walking, cycling, sight seeing, aviation heritage museums, bird-watching, horse riding,or simply enjoying the peace and quiet, you will find this the perfect place to take a break. We have lovingly created Greetham Retreat into what we feel is a real haven and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.

We are under 3 miles from the market town of Horncastle famous for its antique shops and heritage. The fantastic cathedral city of Lincoln and many east coast seaside resorts are all within easy travelling distances.
