Sea Meads is a small and secluded private estate overlooking Mounts Bay, situated towards the eastern end of Praa Sands.

Facing due south and protected by rising hills to the north and east, the Estate abounds with sub-topical trees and shrubs. Within the well tended grounds are six detached houses each with their own private garden. You will feel totally at home in this wonderful setting.

The mile long sandy beach of Praa Sands is a few minutes walk away and there are no busy roads to cross. The beach is sheltered and ideal for families with young children. The Post Office and other shops are five minutes walking distance and there are riding stables near at hand. The nine hole Praa Sands Golf Centre is less than a mile away, and there are three further eighteen hole golf courses on cliff top locations within easy reach by car. Public tennis courts at Helston and Penzance are also available.

From Praa Sands you can experience some delightful cliff walks. To the east lies Rinsey Cove, Trewavas Head and the fishing village of Porthleven whilst westwards are Hoe Point, and the twin coves of Prussia and Bessie�s, both famous in smuggling days.

Fishing trips are available from Penzance and Porthleven and bass & pollock are fished from the beach. Carn Brea Leisure Centre, near Redruth, which is Cornwall�s largest indoor complex, offers a swimming pool, squash, gym, restaurant & bar. Visits to the Earth Satellite Tracking Station and a day out at Flambards theme park both near Helston are recommended. The new Maritime Museum at Falmouth and a number of other �theme parks� are within 30 minutes drive plus the fabulous Eden Project at St. Austell can be reached in less than an hour. Accommodation Details

Sol-mer is a well-designed modern house; it is sunny with attractive south facing elevations and a private garden. The interior is well furnished and equipped for a comfortable holiday. Sol-mer is double-glazed. On the ground floor, to one side of the entrance hall is a spacious lounge, 22′ by 12′, with large windows and a sliding patio door to the terrace. At the rear the dining area is connected to the kitchen by a serving hatch. On the other side of the hall there is a twin bedded room with an en-suite bathroom and toilet, and a small room fitted with a double bunk unit. Access to the bunk room is via the downstairs twin. There is an airing cupboard with built-in cloaks and storage cupboards in the hall. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one double and one twin, and an additional bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet. Both bathrooms are fitted with a heated towel rail and an additional wall heater. Both bedrooms have sliding patio doors opening onto a small balcony with lovely sea views.
