A small selection of secluded, semi-detached properties that have been refurbished to a high standard in a peace inducing location. Set in an elevated position in the pastoral and afforested hill country of mid Wales, they enjoy communal garden area and planted borderlands with a wide variety of plants and shrubs and an abundance of wildlife. The garden is the perfect place for children to explore and play - a truly `Secret Garden'! The area is noted for its Red Kites. In an area where the River Dyfi and the Aran Fawddwy mountain range meet and lead out towards the beautiful coastal resorts of Cardigan Bay. Just a short drive will take you to the small market town of Machynlleth - a busy place steeped in history, home to the world famous Center for Alternative Technology Just beyond lies the magical thought provoking legends of King Arthur in the tourist attraction King Arthurs Labyrinth, a must for all ages. The wonderful beaches of Borth and Aberdovey are approximately 25 minutes or 12 miles away. Artists Valley as the name suggests, 15 minutes. University town of Aberystwyth within easy driving distance. The local pub is 1 mile and nearest shop 4 miles away.

 

Accommodation Details

The Farmhouse sleeps 4 in 2 first floor bedrooms: one double with a four poster bed and one twin room. The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, WC and basin. On the ground floor is a comfortable sitting room with exposed oak beams and an inglenook fireplace housing a wood burning stove. There are two 2 seater leather sofas, a TV and radio/CD player. The dining table seats 4 and has a view out on to The Farmhouse�s private garden area. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

General Details

Electricity and oil central heating is included. The first bucket of fuel for the stove is provided, thereafter it is available at �3 per load. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own bedding for the cot. Please bring your own towels. Towels can be provided on request for �3 per set of one bath towel + one hand towel. Use of a washing facility is available on request at a charge of �5, which includes drying. There is parking for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome but must not be left alone in the cottage. There is no smoking permitted in the cottage.
