The area offers easy walking in rural and canal towpath settings with fishing and riding facilties nearby.

The accommodation comprises a lounge/dining room (with double sofa bed, colour TV, radio, DVD, CD and video players), kitchen, bedroom with double bed, and shower room with washbasin, WC and bidet. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available. Outside there is a patio with table and chairs (plus barbecue) leading to a private garden, largely laid to grass with a further patio and garden bench/table underneath a mature willow tree. Off road parking is provided.

General Details

There is a pub in the village serving real ales and the nearest shops are approximately 2 miles away. A larger selection of shops and Take-aways can be found in Bingham, about 6 miles away.

 

Other Information

Plungar is most easily approached from the A52 between Nottingham and Grantham. Just to the east of Bingham take the road south signposted to Granby and Plungar.
