A small selection of secluded, semi-detached properties that have been refurbished to a high standard in a peace inducing location. Set in an elevated position in the pastoral and afforested hill country of mid Wales, they enjoy communal garden area and planted borderlands with a wide variety of plants and shrubs and an abundance of wildlife. The garden is the perfect place for children to explore and play - a truly `Secret Garden'! The area is noted for its Red Kites. In an area where the River Dyfi and the Aran Fawddwy mountain range meet and lead out towards the beautiful coastal resorts of Cardigan Bay. Just a short drive will take you to the small market town of Machynlleth - a busy place steeped in history, home to the world famous Center for Alternative Technology Just beyond lies the magical thought provoking legends of King Arthur in the tourist attraction King Arthurs Labyrinth, a must for all ages. The wonderful beaches of Borth and Aberdovey are approximately 25 minutes or 12 miles away. Artists Valley as the name suggests, 15 minutes. University town of Aberystwyth within easy driving distance. The local pub is 1 mile and nearest shop 4 miles away.

 

Accommodation Details

The Gallery sleeps 2 in a balcony bedroom with a double bed. The ground floor bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, WC and basin. The open plan sitting/dining kitchen area has a door out to the conservatory which overlooks the garden and the Dyfi valley. The sitting room has a 2 seater sofa, a comfy armchair and a wood burning stove. There is a TV and a radio/CD player. There is a dining table and two chairs. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer.

General Details

Additional heating is by convector heaters. Electricity is included. The first basket of logs for the stove is provided, thereafter it is available at �3 per load. A travel cot and high chair are available on request. Bed linen is provided but please bring your own bedding for the cot. Please bring your own towels. Towels can be provided on request for �3 per set of one bath towel + one hand towel. Use of a washing facility is available on request at a charge of �5 pounds, which includes drying. There is parking for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome but must not be left alone in the cottage. There is no smoking permitted in the cottage.
