Those in the original Victorian mansion have been tastefully furnished to give the feel of a bygone era and many offer splendid views over the Purbeck Hills, Swanage Bay and the gardens.

Louisa Lodge nestles in the extensive and tranquil grounds behind the original building. Completed in 2003, all 20 spacious bedrooms have been designed and furnished in a modern, comfortable style.

Jurassic Coast, towards the end of the Jurassic period and the start of the Cretaceous Dorset was covered by swamps and lagoons in which the dinosaurs roamed. We know this because dinosaur footprints have been preserved in the rocks found around the Swanage area.
