welcome to our stunning Period self catering cottage in
the heart of the Cotswolds.
Your 'home from home'. in STOW ON THE WOLD
Our cottage provides luxury & comfort with modern
facilities, whilst retaining many attractive period
features including an Inglenook fireplace with log
burning stove, stone mullion windows, exposed beams,
oak floors and traditional furnishings.
Broad Oak Cottage is ideally located in a small slip
road with free 24hr. roadside parking. A three minute
stroll from the market square of Stow and all
surrounded by the breathtaking Cotswold countryside,
both walking and driving are a pleasure.
Accommodation Details
The spacious sitting room with exposed Cotswold stone walls, large brick Inglenook fireplace and log burning stove creates a warm inviting ambience. Lit upon arrival in winter and in addition to full gas central heating throughout.
A large comfortable 3 seat sofa and wing chairs with a
wide screen TV and DVD complete the scheme. A wide selection of dvd's and cd's are provided for your enjoyment.
In the Dining room the exposed stone walls and open fireplace are complimented by oak beams and a large refectory table and 4 chairs. CD player, books, magazines and games.
Door opening to Kitchen.
Newly fitted solid oak kitchen with oak tops and tiled backs. Halogen hob and oven with grill, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, under fridge/freezer.
Complete with dinner service, cutlery, glasses, kettle, cafetiere, toaster, saucepans and utensils.
Stable door to private enclosed flower filled courtyard with deckchairs and patio set.
A welcome package awaits you on arrival, with homemade cake, a bottle of wine, tea, coffee, milk, bread & butter.
The master bedroom has exposed stone walls, stone mullioned windows and beamed ceiling. A 6ft. wide King-sized bed with comfortable American patchwork quilts and crisp white linens. Dressing table with mirror, freestanding wardrobe with chest of drawers.
The other double bedroom has 2 - 3ft. wide Single beds also with comfortable American patchwork quilts and crisp linens.
Exposed stone to one wall, with beamed ceiling.
Corner vanity wash basin. Freestanding wardrobe with chest of drawers.
The bathroom comprises a white panel bath with wall mounted powerful shower over. A pedestal wash basin with mirror, shaver point, heated towel rail and W.C.
Solid oak flooring.
Molton Brown toiletries are provided for your use during your stay.

General Details
The old stocks on the green and the Market Cross in the square are reminders of medieval times. Buildings which date back as far as the 10th century are now home to many fine award winning restaurants and gastro pubs, many serving local, organic and seasonal produce.
Interior design, antique furniture, art galleries and independent fashion shops are a treat for the keen shopper. Also home of the famous 'Scotts of Stow', the Garden Co. and Innovations mail order companies all located around the market square.
In Digbeth Street stands The Royalist, said to be the oldest Inn in England. 947AD.

The picturesque villages of Broadway, Chipping Campden, Bourton on the Water, Burford, Moreton-in-Marsh and The Slaughters are all close-by. The towns of Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon are both within an easy drive.
