Overview
The ideal location for a self catering holiday to
explore the Lizard Peninsula. Perfect for family summer
holidays and for walking holidays to explore a
magnificent part of the South West Coast Path
throughout the year.
Surrounded by fields between the village and the sea.
Trenance Farm is set in 13 acres of countryside half
way between Mullion Village and Mullion Cove. The
surrounding coastline, mostly National Trust owned, is
truly magnificent, with small sandy swimming/surfing
coves and rugged cliffs adorned with rare plants and
flowers.
Trenance Farm is mentioned in the Doomsday Book. Many
stories are told of smugglers, revenue men, murders and
ghosts. However, Trenance is now a relaxing retreat and
the perfect base for exploring the unique and magical
Lizard Peninsula, an area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty.

General Details
The swimming pool is open from late May to early September. Surrounded by plants and flowers, the area around the swimming pool provides a beautiful suntrap, perfect for relaxing between dips in the pool.
There is a safe play area with two games rooms, one with table football, the other with table tennis. Tourist information and advice on 'where to go' and 'what to do' is displayed in the games rooms. WIFI is available in the games rooms. You can also enjoy ball games and kite flying in the lower field.
The coastline is truly magnificent, with small sandy swimming/surfing coves and rugged cliffs adorned with wonderful rare plants and flowers, making excellent walking country. Britain's longest national trail, The South West Coast Path, follows the coast of the Lizard peninsula. The western coastline of the Lizard peninsula is designated both as a National Park and a Heritage Coastline.
Other Information
The Lizard Peninsula 'Lys Arth' is Cornwall's best kept secret
Untouched by mass tourism, the Lizard Peninsula is a real survivor of Daphne Du Maurier's 'Vanishing Cornwall'. The coastline is truly magnificent, with small sandy swimming and surfing coves and rugged cliffs adorned with wonderful rare plants and flowers. It is excellent walking country.
The Lizard peninsula is Cornwall's and Britain's most southerly point and its geology, landscape and flora are very special too. Nowhere else in Cornwall has such a density of nationally recognised Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) or regionally important County Geology Sites (formerly known as RIGS). The main reason for this is that the rocks of the Lizard are different from the rest of Cornwall.
