Overview

We have seven self catering cottages available for weekly or short breaks situated near the stunning Chesil Beach in West Dorset, a short distance from Weymouth. The properties form part of a working dairy farm and are surrounded by stunning countryside and beautiful farm walks. The cottages range from sleeping 2 to 9 people and reside in the small villages of Langton Herring and Rodden. Character Farm Cottages is a family run business and has been running for the last 30 years.

 

Accommodation Details

The cottages are all 4 start rated, several have been given Gold Star ratings by the English Tourist Board. More importantly they are meticulously looked after by Ann and Jane (mother and daugher team) who keep them spotlessly clean and want them to feel "home from home". They are all very well equipped and feature traditional beams, inglenook fire places and log fires to give them a character feel. Guests have been returning, sometimes 2- 3 times a year for the past 20 years!!

General Details

We run the cottages friday to friday and do short breaks from October to March. Booking can be done online via our website although at present we only take payment via paypal. internet transfer or cheque. �100 deposit secures your cottage and then we collect payment after you arrive. There is ample parking space outside each cottage.
