Meadow Views, Puddletown

Nr Puddletown, Dorset

Overview

Meadow Views is a sympathetically renovated holiday cottage in a small hamlet, near Puddletown and 5 miles North East of Dorchester, off the A35. Situated deep in stunning countryside, Meadow Views is but a stone's throw from the manor on which Thomas Hardy based Wetherby Farm in his classic novel Far From the Madding Crowd and where the 1967 film starring Julie Christie and Alan Bates was so beautifully and evocatively filmed. It is also only 10 miles from the Coast and within easy reach of a wealth of attractions catering for all interests and age groups.

A former Farm Worker's cottage, Meadow Views was built circa 1885 and is furnished with a wealth of personal touches in keeping with the style and manner of the time - yet offering guests all the amenities of the 21st century.

Accommodation Details
